Road Trip has no account, no sign-up, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. Ora et Labora Technologies LLC, which makes the app, receives nothing about you, your family, your pets or where you're going.

Where your trips live

Everything you enter (trips, bookings and confirmation numbers, packing lists, checklists, house prep, mail hold details, luggage tags, family members, pets and emergency contacts) is stored on your device. With Sync with iCloud on in Settings, the app keeps your iPhone, iPad and Mac in step through your own private iCloud database. Apple holds that database under your Apple Account and its own terms; we cannot read it. Switch sync off and your records stay on the device.

What we receive

Nothing. The app sends no data to us or to anyone else. It contains no analytics, advertising or tracking software, and it does not use a server of ours. There are no in-app purchases.

Reminders

Booking, check-in, checklist, mail hold and departure reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device. No push service is involved, and you can turn them off in Settings.

Luggage tags

A tag shows only what you choose to print on it. The optional QR code holds a random trip identifier and nothing else: no names, phone numbers or addresses. The PDF is made on your device.

Children

Parents enter their children's details (a name, an age, a clothing size, allergies) to plan a family trip. Those details stay on the family's devices and in the family's own iCloud database, like everything else. Children do not create accounts, and we collect no personal information from children, in keeping with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

This website

roadtripfamilyapp.com sets no cookies, keeps no analytics and loads nothing from third parties: fonts, images and the one script for the demo are served from this site. The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes standard request data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and keep the site secure, under its own privacy policy. The demo on the home page runs in your browser with a sample family and saves nothing.

Email

If you write to support, we use your message and address only to answer you. We don't add you to a list or share them.

Changes and contact
